The Notebook (DOS and Windows versions only) is an area in which you may write notes, store addresses and phone numbers, or any data that you want to keep handy. You can enter information on the pages of a notebook; add pages to your notebook as needed; create new notebooks; open existing notebooks and modify the contents; and even merge notebooks. It's an efficient system for organizing your data and keeping it organized.
Note: For Windows users, the Notebook may be started from the Program Manager, as well as from the scheduler, and run independently. If you start the Notebook from the Windows Program Manager, you may pass the name of the Notebook to open in a command line. If you have Windows 3.0, this makes it possible to set up icons that load particular Notebook files.
To start your Notebook session while in the scheduler, click on Notebook in the menu bar, or press ALT+N. The Notebook title bar will state the name of the application, and the name of the notebook that is currently being displayed. FIRST.NBK is always the first notebook file which Notebook opens.
